Food & Storehouse Ministry
One of our most successful Care Ministries to our community is our Clothes Closet. This ministry is totally dependent on the donations received and the volunteers who run it. This ministry offers free clothes to anyone and everyone who need them. Each year this ministry provided clothing to over 40,000 area families. The Clothes Closet is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This ministry provides emergency food at 2:00 pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, to individuals and families from all over the area who are hungry. We also provide diapers and baby food to families with small children. Donations are always welcomed and can be dropped off at the church office during business hours.
Missions Ministry
We are a private, nonprofit organization established in 1992 and run by volunteers to develop, expand and maintain a Christian orphanage in Tanzania, Africa, to care for the abandoned and orphaned children. We exist for the purpose of implementing the great commission of Jesus Christ to go into all the world and preach the gospel and make disciples. We provide physical, emotional, mental, educational and spiritual care for these children. Visit Samaritan Village Orphanage.org to see them in action.
This ministry is a one-year 24/7 live-in men’s program for those who have overwhelming life-controlling addictions that rob them of having a real life, the life that God has planned for them. Students learn about God and learn to apply this knowledge to their lives through worship, classes, studying, homework, vocational training, working, enjoying lots of good food and fellowship and some free time. Check us out online.
While we have local community mission activities, our extended missions have included trips to Mexico (several locations), and Diamond Arrow Christian Conference Center.
A Woman’s Friend is a long-standing ministry that Crossroads has supported from our beginning. Located in Yuba City, California, the Woman’s Friend provides a free clinic for women. They offer sonograms and provide counseling to consider “life” instead of an abortion. If a pregnant woman is unable to raise their child, A Woman’s Friend encourages them to consider adoption. They also offer free counseling for women who have had an abortion.
Dan McCraw is a phenomenal Christian musician and singer who attended bible college with Pastor Jim Clark. Dan travels each year throughout United States doing concerts to raise money so he can travel as a missionary to countries around the world, some of which include: the Philippians, Korea, China, Taiwan, South America, and Central America. The church has supported Dan’s ministry since our inception in 1991.
Media Ministry
Audio/Video/Lighting
All of our volunteer tech teams who handle audio/video/lighting, play an integral part of setting the atmosphere for worship and provide cds, dvds, podcasts and video streaming on the world wide web. AVL Director Jason Arsenault heads up a team of volunteers who for the most part go unnoticed because of good sound, good lighting and good video.

CCC offers bus transportation on Sunday mornings to our 11:00 AM service. We pick up in Yuba City, Marysville, Olivehurst and Linda. If you are interested in riding the bus call the church office at (530) 751-9168 and we’ll make sure you have a ride.
Crossroads jail ministry is actively involved in the jails in Yuba and Sutter counties as well as the Juvenile Hall in Marysville. This ministry is under the direction of Pastor Earl Phillips. Earl ministers to men in the jails presenting the gospel to the inmates and teaching them the word of God. When they are released from incarceration, they are welcomed and wanted at Crossroads Community Church. In fact, the inmates upon discharge are told: “The first place you should go is CCC, they will help you with clothes, food and a hot meal, but most of all they will love you.”

Traditional Service Worship
Prayer Ministry
Teams of two (couples or gender-specific pairs) pray during each worship service. They pray not only for the ongoing service, but also for every facet of ministry, as well as the needs of our church family.
This compassionate team prays for and with individuals and families during the prayer time in each of the services.
Jim Watt heads up our Prayer Chain. When requests are submitted, Jim emails them to our church body and prayer partners around the world. Prayer requests are also passed to prayer partners via the telephone.
Men meet at 6:30 PM every Tuesday night to pray for the needs of our country, our state, our community, our church, and prayer requests which they have received. This prayer group is under the leadership of Jim Watt.
